Mariah Belt

Mariah is originally from Maryland, but landed herself in Gretna in 2010. She joined the Family Vet team in 2024, making her appearance as a groomer! She grew up around many animals, but spent most of her time learning and riding horses. She finds the most rewarding
thing about being a groomer is when all animals and people can feel a sense of comfort with her.
Outside of work, Mariah can be found deep in the antique stores searching for items to add to her collection. You can also find her out in the pastures riding her horses Dougie and Reine. When she isn’t in the salon giving your baby their new look, she is at home with her boyfriend, Bailey, and three dogs Charlie, Goose, and Meeko.
Mariah finds that the most influential people in her life have been her mentors in the horse world. She learned from them the importance of making animals feel safe in her care and will use these skills when she meets your pet!
