Loryn Whitman is originally from Killeen, Texas, and now calls Danville home. Coming from a family with a strong military background, Loryn grew up surrounded by dedication, resilience, and a sense of purpose. She even considered following in those footsteps herself, but ultimately chose to pursue her passion for working with animals.
Some of Loryn’s fondest memories come from traveling the country with her family, experiences that shaped her adaptability and appreciation for new environments. Her love for animals has been a constant throughout her life, leading her to begin veterinary assistant courses through Penn Foster as she continues to grow her knowledge and skills in the field.
At Danville Family Vet, Loryn is passionate about making both pets and their owners feel truly valued. She strives to create a welcoming, comforting environment where every pet is cared for like family and every client feels important and heard.
Outside of work, Loryn enjoys staying active and creative. She loves swimming, skating, and crocheting, and also expresses her creativity through 3D modeling. Her inspiration comes from a drive to always improve and push herself to be better each day. She also admires authenticity and individuality, drawing influence from artists like Fiona Apple.
Loryn shares a special bond with her friends and her dogs, who mean the world to her. With her compassionate nature, creativity, and dedication to growth, she is a wonderful addition to the Danville Family Vet Pet Hotel team.
