Kaleigh is originally from Providence, North Carolina, and she joined the Family Vet team
in April of 2019. She graduated The University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2022 with a
bachelor’s degree in biology, and is currently enrolled in a veterinary technology program
through Penn Foster College. Once completed, she will be a Licensed Veterinary Technician!
Bettering herself for her future is something that is very important to Kaleigh, and she is heavily
influenced by her Papa, who she says she can go to for many life problems because he will
always help guide her in the right direction.
Outside of work, Kaleigh enjoys traveling to new places and going to the beach. Family
and friends are very important to her and, when she is not busy with school work, she spends
most of her time with her sister, Chloe, and her boyfriend, Lane. She shares her home with her
mixed-breed dog, Ember, who she can always count on to be her study partner. It is Kaleigh’s
goal to be an advocate for our patients and their wellbeing. She hopes to always be a source of
knowledge for our clients, and to help empower them so that they can help their pets live the
most fulfilled lives possible!
