Dr. Jennifer Hoch has lived in Oakridge North Carolina in The Triad for 13 years. She has four children ages seven, nine, eleven, and twelve. She also has one dog, a Golden Retriever who is six years old, two cats, and a bearded dragon. She grew up as an Army brat so she has traveled all around. She attended college and veterinary school at Auburn University. Dr. Hoch is a Board-certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. To achieve this distinction, Dr. Hoch completed 2 years of internships after veterinary school graduation from Auburn University. Next, she completed a 3-year Surgical Residency at Iowa State University. After her specific training, research, publication, and rigorous certification, Dr. Hoch meets the guidelines established by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS). She worked at a multi-specialty referral-only practice for 14 years. Dr. Hoch is a mobile veterinary surgeon and travels around both central North Carolina and Virginia to help do surgery on animals that need advanced surgery, but the owners can’t travel or afford to go to a referral hospital. Dr. Hoch partners with us at Danville Family Vet to provide cost-effective and convenient advanced surgeries for our patients.
