Ava was born to Burl Whitfield and Heather Woods, and raised in Danville, Virginia. She
has been a member of the Danville Family Vet team since November of 2023. She is a Tunstall
High School graduate and she shares her home with her boyfriend, Brandon, and her dog, Max.
Ava enjoys practicing any form of art, and spending time with her family and friends during her
off hours. Her grandmother, Vicky Whitfield is a big positive influence in her life.
Ava has had a great experience working with the Danville Family Vet team thus far, and
she says that spending time with the pets here has been genuinely fun and rewarding. She feels
very blessed to have the opportunity to work closely as a team with her coworkers to meet the
unique needs of your fur babies. She strives daily to live by our mission statement, and treat
everyone like family.
