Minor Injuries

Limping, sprains, cuts, bite wounds, and other minor injuries deserve prompt attention. We’ll evaluate your pet and recommend the best course of treatment.

Allergies & Skin Conditions

Itching, rashes, hot spots, hair loss, and allergic reactions can make pets miserable. We’ll determine the underlying cause and provide relief.

Respiratory Illnesses

Coughing, sneezing, nasal discharge, or breathing changes may be signs of illness. Our team can diagnose the problem and begin appropriate treatment.

Lethargy & Behavior Changes

If your pet seems unusually tired, weak, or simply isn’t acting like themselves, it’s worth having them evaluated. Changes in behavior are often one of the earliest signs of illness.

Same-Day Vet Care FAQs

If your pet is showing significant changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, breathing, or comfort level, it’s worth contacting us for guidance. Early intervention often leads to better outcomes and can prevent conditions from becoming more serious.

We recommend calling ahead whenever possible so our team can prepare for your arrival and assess the urgency of your pet’s condition. However, we understand emergencies happen unexpectedly and will do our best to accommodate pets in need.

Urgent care is designed for conditions that need prompt attention but are not immediately life-threatening. Severe trauma, active seizures, collapse, significant breathing difficulties, and other critical emergencies may require a 24-hour emergency hospital.

Contact us right away, even if your pet seems normal. The type of item ingested, the amount, and how long ago it happened can all affect the urgency of treatment, and acting quickly can make a significant difference.

If your pet’s condition warrants overnight care, we may immediately refer you to an emergency veterinary hospital that offers 24-hour care, or we may coordinate a transfer for overnight hospitalization.
